The Woods at Victoria Park to Move In Residents

Osprey Property Company is pleased to announce that construction is nearly completed and residents will begin moving into The Woods at Victoria Park starting on January 1, 2004. The 48-unit apartment community will complement the 110-unit independent senior housing which opened in 1997 at the Powell’s Creek community of Woodbridge, Prince William County, Virginia. The attractive four story building will welcome residents over the age of 55 and income restrictions will apply. The highly-anticipated second building is expected to lease up quickly.
One and two bedroom units will range from $525 to $800. All apartments will have full-equipped kitchens with a dishwasher, frost-free refrigerator, garbage disposal, range with front controls and upgraded cabinets. Safety features include an emergency call system, two eye viewers at the entry doors and grab bars in the bathrooms.

Community amenities include a spacious lobby and lounge areas, resident storage lockers, a community room, crafts room, controlled-entry access, and one elevator. The community also will have access to the neighboring community’s outdoor pool.

The development team consists of Osprey Property Company, AHC, Inc. non-profit partner, developers; Heffner Architects, architect; Tobin Builders, general contractor; Habitat America, property manager; and Virginia Housing Development Authority and Branch Banking Trust, financing.
