Victoria Park at Sassafras Meadows funded by State

Osprey Property Company is pleased to announce that Victoria Park at Sassafras Meadows has been selected by the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development for funding of the requested Low Income Housing Tax Credits and Home Funds. An application for funding was submitted by Project Manager Andrew Hanson and Vice President Brian Lopez on September 6, 2006.
Victoria Park at Sassafras Meadows will be an 80-unit affordable rental community for independent seniors 62 years and older in Salisbury, MD. The project will serve seniors earning 30% to 60% of the area median income (ranging approximately from $12,930 to $29,520). The community will be ideally located in Salisbury, MD near the intersection of West Rd and Queen Ave in the Sassafras Meadows neighborhood. Peninsula Regional Medical Center and various doctors’ offices and shopping are located just a few minutes away.

Victoria Park will offer several styles and sizes of apartments. One bedroom/one bath units will be 672 sf and two bedroom/one or two bath units will be 879 to 925 sf. Affordable rents are estimated to range from under $300 to under $800. All rents will include water, sewer and trash.
